Marriage Is Complacent?

Couples planning a wedding get so hyped up in planning the wedding that we feel rather lost once the cake has been eaten and the photos taken. I certainly did as suddenly there wasn’t anything to plan for anymore.

Now, although we have the house decorations to look into and think about, it isn’t moving as there is no longer a set date we’re working towards. That’s the danger of complacency! It lulls you into a false sense of time so you end up procrastinating. Funny but I never thought marriage might make one complacent!

There are also some imminent changes in our lives that I can see coming. And no, it does not involve a new addition to the family!

I don’t think we’re quite ready for that added financial commitment yet in the current economic climate where even investment banker jobs are no longer secure, what more mine, especially with the recent news of job cuts across the group worldwide!
