Our Wedding Gifts
UncategorizedThe wedding is finally over and we’re still adjusting into married life, 4 months down the road. It certainly isn’t easy adjusting with both of us having different expectations and backgrounds.
In fact, I just finished unpacking some wedding gifts we received recently and looking at our wedding photographs which finally came in from our wedding photographers. It feels a little strange to relive those moments that seemed so long ago! Speaking of gifts, I received some rather surprising gifts from some guests. Some gave me a salt lamp while others gave me a crystal ornament. However, the most surprising gift has to be the box of Sexy Lingerie I received from one of DH’s church friends! It really surprised me as I didn’t know the couple all that well and it felt a little embarrassing to receive something so intimate such as flirty lingerie from someone I hardly knew! Still, I guess it is the thought behind it that counts. Nevertheless, I still do feel a little awkward when I meet her, just in case she asks if we’ve put it to use! Haha…
