Wedding Invitations

I was just doing a brief stock take of what we have accomplished to date recently with the wedding and *gasp* we still have so much more to go! For starters, we haven’t even finalized the most important part of the wedding - the guest list and the wedding invitations! What is a wedding party without guests?!

Unlike some bride-to-bes who know exactly just what they want, I don’t really have any firm idea or strong likes or dislikes about my wedding. I haven’t even found my theme or thought about how I want the invitations worded! We recently contacted a friend who is in the printing business for some advice and she recommended for us to buy wedding invites instead of designing and printing them on our own if cost was a factor. Apparently with the many ready made wedding invitations available online and in stores today, it is really easy to find a wedding invitation card that you like. I went online and guess what?

She’s right! I could easily buy 100 affordable wedding invitations for less than US$100 which works out to under RM3 for a card. Some offer personalized services while others offer just a standard printed invite. I guess it depends on the prices one is willing to pay.

I’m still thinking about this option but I’m glad I found it! Some options are better than none and I have to say, these invites look really pretty!

Silver Daisy

What a cute little daisy theme!

Old English

These are really sweet if my theme was pink!

Bridal Bliss

Something borrowed, something blue!

Depending on your budget (and the size of your invite list!), making your own may be quite cost efficient as well. It’s also a good time to weed out all the buried creative talent amongst family members too eh? :)

A friend hand-made 300 invites for her wedding with embossed stamps and ribbon, which turned out really nice. Not quite practical, but definitely something that would be remembered… :)
