Casual Pre-Wedding Photographs
Wedding Photographers
I never knew that wedding photography was such a big business until I started my research for one. There are now so many freelance wedding photographers which come in all kinds of price ranges and different styles. The style of the moment seems to be what they call a photojournalistic wedding photography style which involves capturing the moments of the day unobtrusively in a storybook feel. Some photojournalist purists will definitely beg to differ on this kind of style especially when there are so many young wedding photographers starting to make their appearance felt. Ultimately, the question you have to ask would be what sets a professional wedding photographer apart from a person who has a flashy DSLR camera.
I’ve glad to have settled my Actual Day photographer but am still toying around with the idea of a pre-wedding one. I found a fantastic photographer I really loved and she suggested taking some pre-wedding photographs in casual clothing instead of wedding garb. I love that idea but unfortunately J doesn’t seem to be too keen on it as casual shots, to him, can be done at any time and not as part of a pre-wedding session.
I still do like that idea and I’ve noticed many people seem to have adopted this style for their pre-wedding and engagement photos. It has a certain carefree feel to it and seems to be a lot less pressure as compared to when you’re decked out in your wedding finery! What do you think?
